SLANT BOARD EXERCISES
Slant board exercises are especially helpful in cases where there may
be a prolapsed transverse colon, a prolapsed uterus, weakness in the
bladder, or if a woman has had a hysterectomy and the bladder is
prolapsed so there’s an incontinence problem. It is also very helpful
for getting circulation into the head area.

There are contra-indications, however. If a person has high blood
pressure, hiatal hernia or has had any type of cancer in the
reproductive areas, it is not advisable to use slant board exercise.
Also, if you have a severe back problem, it is recommended you
check with a chiropractor before using the slant board.

Many times a person can make their own slant board or use an
ironing board. Fold it down flat, put one end up on the couch or the
edge of the bed. Lie with your head low and your feet high. You may
need to secure your feet around the top of the board with something
like a belt so you wont slide down. Raise your arms above the head,
take deep breaths and you can actually feel the organs coming back
into place.

High impact aerobics are not recommended as it increases the affect
of the downward pull of gravity. When a woman does high impact
aerobics, there is a constant pounding of the entire digestive system
and reproductive tracts. Keep in mind that a prolapsed transverse
colon will put pressure on all organs below it – including the uterus.
High-impact aerobics are not recommended for women who have
been told they have a tilted uterus.
